About NJHHS

If you have enjoyed the Lantern Tours at Long Pond Ironworks, Victorian Christmas at Ringwood Manor, or the Revolutionary and Civil War Re-enactments, or, if you are interested in the history of Northern New Jersey or the Revolutionary War, you may want to join NJHHS. We collect artifacts and stories and take park in archaeological conferences, book signings, historical hikes, archive exploration, etc. You can have a Ph.D. or no degree at all: all are welcome. See the application form or write to info@northjerseyhistory.org

NJHHS has meetings on the last Wednesday of every month at 8:00 p.m. and at nearly every meeting we have an interesting speaker. We also arrange exhibitions, publish research and encourage community participation. Membership entitles you to receive the journal the Highlander, but it also enables you to meet people, learn about the historical events in your area and have fun.

Join the region's historians in preserving our rich heritage for future generations. Annual Membership in NJHHS includes subscription to the Highlander.
